I can plan walks for all ages and abilities, from shorter, family-friendly walks to long and challenging longer outings.

Dartmoor is renowned for its changeable weather conditions so I recommend bringing the following items:

• Waterproof jacket

• Waterproof trousers

• Spare warm layers

• Walking boots as some areas are rough and uneven so boots that go above the ankle, providing good ankle support and a somewhat waterproof - there can be boggy/muddy areas. I don't recommend trainers but I understand that you may have no option so I can alter a walking route to accommodate.

• Long trousers which protect your legs from ticks, cuts and grazes.• Warm hat and gloves or sun hat and sun block if sunny.

• Food, drink and snacks for the day.

• Any personal medication - I will check you have this on the day.• Rucksack with waterproof liner/bag.

• Money if we pass where for refreshments.

Optional additions: camera, gaiters and/or walking poles if you have them.

I try and stick to a client ratio is 1:12 but I can cater for larger groups with the help of another guide.

Dartmoor is renowned for its changeable weather so the walk will go ahead as long as suitable clothing is worn/carried (see what to bring). If there are any weather warnings issued e.g., heavy rain, snow, extreme heat, we can reconsider the walking route or book another day which suits you.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but need to be on leads. Please let me know in advance.

Yes. Having walked the whole of the South West Coast Path, I know the path very well around South Devon. I also have lead walks around the South Hams countryside. If you have a specific spot in mind, please get in touch.
